BMV 712 shunt for wake speed sense wires

Can the two screws that hold the BMV circuit board to the shunt be used for Wake Speed sense wires without compromising the ability to measure current?

@Kevin did you get an answer to this, I'm thinking of doing this. But perhaps the victron gear can pick the wakespeed up as an alternator now anyway!?

It was recommended to me by Wakespeed Tech Support to install a 2nd shunt on the positive side to measure current. And that works well. However I do believe the negative shunt should work. I don't think I ever got an answer from Victron Community. I would recommend you try Victron Facebook for an answer.

The two screws holding the PCBA to the shunt are mounting screws for the PCBA, do not connect anything to those screws - they are not consumer connection points.
