Load 24V Akku with 12v Solar System

Hi,

I have a SmartSolar 75/15. Is it possible to load a 24v LiFe Akku when I only have a 100W 12V Solar Panel? Ist this possible with a SmartSolar 75/15?

Can the SmartSolar 75/15 work as a 12V to 24V DC-Step Up Charger?


Or is it only possible to load

12v Solar System —> 12V Akku or

24V SolarSystem —> 12V Akku or

24V Solar System —> 24V Akku?

Unfortunately the MPPT is not a Boost converter, it cannot step up.
Those scenarios that you listed are all true.

One option for you might be to get hold of another panel the same as you have and connect them in series to get the PV Voltage above the required level.
