CCGX - keine MQTT Werte vom Wechselrichter *** CCGX no mqtt values since update

Hallo,

Stefan

Hello,

at my work we have 4 ColorControl GX installed in the vehicles or trailers. I read the status of the inverters, battery level, tank level etc. via MQTT using monitoring software (PRTG). On all devices the automatic firmware update function is activated and the firmware 2.8 is installed.

Since 1.2.22 between 3:35 and 3:55 I don't get any values from all devices.

The MQTT Explorer can still connect to the CCGX, but no values come from the AC/DC technology.

What has changed since the update? How can I get this to work again? Many thanks for your help.

https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/118710/venus-os-v280-breaks-modbus-tcp-register-777-pv-cu.html

Merci

I had also problems to receive data from VRM using MQTT (own python-scripts) after upgrading to v2.80. I have been using client.publish("R/xxx/system/0/serial") as keep-alive for a long time but my problem was solved by changing keep-alive to client.publish("R/xxx/keepalive").

Hi @PeB , while checking if we could reproduce the issue, we found one thing that can explain what you saw:

In the old code ANYTHING would trigger a keepalive. Even a malformed request. In the new code... it has to be a well formed Serial read. Anybody relying on the looser handling will find that their code needs sharpening up.

I’ll add that to the change log. We’re still checking, but so far all MQTT works well; also from inverter data. So not sure what the issue of @Stefan_from_Hamburg is either.

I am facing the same issue with 2.8 and 2.84.

In the local mqtt i only see the serial, but no values of my meter?

(So far i only installed VenusOS on Raspberry and connected a EM24 via RS485, nothing else)

After downgrade to 2.73 still only the serial on local plaintext mqtt.

Is there a possibility to access the local mqtt (without internet) with credentials.

I already added a bridge to my home assistant, but only receive the serial number and no grid values

Same after fresh installation of 2.73, any idea?

Is it because i have no inverter connected, or do i need to connect with SSL?
