as posted im wondering if it possible to arrange Auto Generator start on the Victron EasySolar-II 24/3000/70-32 MPPT 250/70 GX ? Or do i need a cerbo gx in addition?

The EasySolar has a programmable relay and with the "generator start/stop" or "programmable relay" assistant you can control that relay.

Victron EasySolar-II 48/3000/35-32 MPPT 250/70 GX
not the 24 volt model, but i guess your information about the ess is stil correct for this unit aswell. But im wondering how to activate/install the ess ?
In my other victron installation i have a cerbo gx where the relay settings are displayed, but on tje easy solar 2 gx it is not,… is that correct ?
Generator start/stop has nothing to do with ESS.
The GX module inside the EasySolar don't have a relay.
The programmable relay is in the MultiPlus part of the EasySolar (an EasySolar is a MultiPlus + MPPT + GX device together in one case).
You need VE.config for that. To connect to the MultiPlus you need a MK3 Interface or the GX device has to be online.
