How often does the compatible battery list get updated?

Was wondering how often this list gets updated? I’m looking to replace my run of the mill LifePO4 batteries with “smart” LifePO4 batteries that will work with the cerbo. I saw gyll got rebranded as EG4 and offer rj485 and can ports. Wasn’t sure if anyone had experience with those. Thanks!

It is up to date, while the specifics for configuration may not be 100% current, but manufacturers that support victron will have a current document for setup.

@Justin Tierney

The battery compatibility list is the official supported batteries by Victron.

Loads of people on this forum use other batteries and then will add drivers or something so they can communicate.

Non supported batteries can always use a bmv for soc. I have seen a random battery plug in and they communicate. But i think they use a supported brands bms internally anyway.

I have never seen the batteries you are proposing. Maybe someone else has.
