where does the Cerbo/GX Touch draw its voltage reading from?

Hello, I have a customer with an issue and Im out of country right now. He installed his own multiplus, cerbo gx and touch 50.

When running a load on the multi. His voltage is 12.8 on the bmv712.(matches what is at the main bus bars) But 12.1-12.2 on the touch 50 .

What can cause this discrepancy?

Where does the touch 50 draw it's voltage reading from?

Thank you

cerbo gx

Hi, Cerbo/GX touch draw their voltage reading from the bmv, by default.

and there is an option to prefer the multi.

See Settings -> System setup

Also in the manual.

success!

Hi, you need to check that setting and/or in the Device list on the GX Touch see which devices shows what reading.

and then in most cases its due to a bad connection, and thus voltage drop. So take a multi meter out and measure where the issue is.

Thats all I can advise so remotely I’m afraid, success!
