It depends on what you mean by deleted. And are there other users on the installation?
Did you just unlink the GX or did you actually delete all the data?
In theory if you re-add it as an installation it should connect to its data again, as the GX has to be sending data to the vrm to add it in the beginning and data can be transferred. Although I could be corrected on that, i have never tried to unlonk and relink a GX to a site.
