work around for missing smart shunt features

I just got a 500A Smart Shunt - and while it has some useful features - there are some features I expected it does not have:

1. the trend feature in the iOS app forgets everything as soon as the phone goes to sleep or switches to a different app - this makes the trend feature pretty much useless for me

2. there seems to be no way to connect to the PC app via blue tooth

3. I have not found a way to record a full charge - discharge cycle

4. the "low voltage" notification only pops up when you open the app - I would expect it to pop up when I'm in blue tooth range regardless of the app running or not

Are there any simple ways to remedy these "shortcomings" - especially the history recording?

The smartshunt is simply not a logging device.

Simple? Yes. Add a GX device with its own internet connection and use VRM to log all data reported by Victron hardware. Detail information can be recorded as frequently as every minute and is stored for 6 months. Can also be configured to email you any alerts. Push is not enabled, but it's been discussed for future implementation on this site.

Cheap? No.

1. There will be a better trend feature in one of the next VictronConnect versions, it is currently in beta.

2. It is not possible and will not be possible in the near future. As far as I know it is a windows limitation.
