which all in one product (charger/inverter)

I would need an all in one 24V solar charge controller/inverter/battery charger for off grid solar system. I would like to power AC 240V loads around 2000W - only during daytime, and some 12V small loads - 10-50W). Option to charge 24v batteries with generator and/or to power AC loads directly with generator is needed (power assist?). Also, i would like a device that does not need additional BT dongles/GX devices/USB interfaces in order to program battery charging voltages and power assist, so full programmability of the device thru BT or wifi is needed. Compatibility with BT Smart Battery Sense would also be nice. Battery charger should have low temp charging disconnect for lifepo4.


I dont know which is the correct one for me: EasySolar, EasySolar II GX, Multiplus Compact, Multiplus I or II (+separate solar charge controller) or something else.

I tried contacting Victron representative for our region, but he is "AFK".

Afik there isn't a Victron all in one unit that does everything you want.

You're going to have to have multiple units. And compromise. Best to sit with the distributor and go through all the options. How long AFK?

Ultimately it will come down to which trade offs are most acceptable for you.

I might add that the Easysolar II is probably a good start point, but it doesn't have dual AC input. So a 240V generator requires isolation from mains. It's also a collection of stand alone units in one box, so no single programming interface. Also no dual DC voltage.

It is a off grid solar system so no mains are near, only generator as a source of AC. What is a dual DC voltage?

Is Easy Solar II fully programmable thru BT?

Dual DC is from your first post. 24V battery and some 12V loads.

Easysolar II GX has WiFi interface for GX controler and BT for included MPPT 250/70.

Suggest choosing 48V ES-II unit.

Lower current on DC side:

1. Less copper needed for wires,

2. Lower losses on current conducting,

3. Cheaper electrical hardware.

and more.

So mppt charger + Multiplus II +70€ usb cable (PC Victron MK3-USB interface (VE.Bus to USB)
) could also be a way to go?

Look at Victron price list and make informed decision.

24V system

EasySolar-II 24/3000/70-32 MPPT 250/70 GX € 1.924,00

You could go with GX version of MP-IIs but Cerbo is a better choice and cost is the same.

For me, not clear what you want.

Do you have loads apart from AC and 12V? Specifically 24V.

You have no monitoring in the system. E.g. BMV712.

Then the 48V system probably makes more sense. Make sure your panels are giving enough voltage. The system won't charge until panel voltage is more than 5V higher than actual battery voltage. So you need about 60V from your panels
