IP65 and Battleborn BBGC3

I just bought 4 BBGC3 and a Quattro 48/10000 inverter/charger. Battleborn says to get each battery to 14.6V before connecting them in series as a 48V bank. The IP65 charger has an absorption setting of 14.2V. Can the IP65 be set and used to charge each battery to 14.6V before connecting them into a 48V bank?

Hi @cucotx,

yes, no problem. You need to set up a custom charge profile.

Excellent. Is that in Power Supply mode, Advanced Mode or Expert Mode settings? Which one is recommended for my use case? Or does it matter?

Is the recommended mode also found with the Victron Blue Smart IP22 12V 30A 3 bank 120V charger?

Yes, definitely.

Connect to your charger via VictronConnect -> Settings -> Advanced settings -> Advanced battery settings -> Battery preset -> User defined and make your settings. Expert mode gives you some more specific settings to play with. Make sure you disable temperature compensation.
