Does the easysolar II gx accept voltage that might not be stable coming from the generator ?

Using ATS between Grid & Generator at AC IN
Yes, there should be no problem using an ATS on the AC input like this. The Inverter setup includes a check box for weak ac input, and some other parameters may need adjustment depending on your generator.
