Hi, I can get my hands on a multiplus II. 48/5000/70 GX for dirt cheap because the seller hooked the battery up with reversed polarity DC side
I'm a car electrician with Great soldering skills.
Did someone ever try to fix these? Maybe just a fried 10$ component or is it done big time?
It's difficult to say without reviewing the damage first.
The very least that I expect is that the input capacitor bank will have been damaged. Beyond that is the power pack, maybe some or all damaged MOSFETs in there. Maybe the MOSFET driver stage is also damaged in this case.
Whether or not there is damage to the digital section is impossible to tell until the device is on a workbench.
