yes, this does work. Your BMS does need to talk to the Venus OS though. Also the battery parameters in the BMS need to be correctly set. Have a look at Louis van der Walt serial bms thread for more information.

Ok, thanks, Then i need a BMS with a output to transfer data to the cerbo.

I am using DVCC with battery without CAN protocol. Just "2 signal BMS".

Be best to read the manual on DVCC. It sets out the requirements your system should have to ise the feature.

The answer is yes and no. It depends on your setup. If it is a can bus enabled battery (pylotec, some blue novas) then definitely yes.
