BMV-700 SOC

Simple question.

Should the SOC% match the bar graph in the bottom RH corner of the gauge?

Ie, 3 bars = 60%, 5 bars = 100%

I believe the bar graph is probably correct & my SOC % is not for some reason.

I don't have BT so can't screen shot settings.

It is linked to the setting 16. SOC relay (discharge floor).

Full = 100% and empty = you reached the SOC set in setting 16.

#16 setting is 85%.

Currently SOC is reading 91.9% & bar gauge showing 2 bars so assume 40%.

If setting 16 is 85% then you have a range of 15% from 0 to 5 bars.

85% = 0 bars
88% = 1 bar
91% = 2 bars
94% = 3 bars
97% = 4 bars
100% =5 bars

So to match The SOC it should be set to 0%

In reality 10% for lithium battteries to show actual power available.

You should it set to a value you normally want to stop discharging.

(50% for lead and 20% for lithium or whatever the manufacturer recommends)
