If I buy a SmartShunt 500/50 and network both of them together, can the SmartMPPT 75/15 use the more accurate SoC info to shut of the Load? So enhance or replace the BatteryLife algorytm?
Or will it just give me better info on the phone, but the BatteryLife still uses the voltages?
Short answer would be no, sorry.
I have a BMV712 which would provide similar bluetooth data to a smart shunt I'm assuming, networked to a 75/15 MPPT already.
Currently no Soc info is shared, so this would not be possible (see pic) and I see no option in the settings for this currently.
Once I tried linking them by VE.Direct cable but to no avail since I think they're both designed to only send info to a smart Venus device, not talk to each other. But you might be able to achieve what you're talking about with a Venus device? I'm not sure.
