Need to disable internal earth relay on my new Phoenix 24/5000. Have followed VEConfigure instructions using MK3-USB interface using autodetect, but the program does not detect the inverter. Help please?

@ChrisKirk is this the first time you are using the Mk3 on your laptop with this device?
If so then it may be a driver issue

To install the MK2-USB / MK3-USB driver on a computer without internet, first download the MK2-USB / MK3-USB driver using VEConfig3 and install it by selecting the menu Special -> USB Drivers. Only afterwards connect the MK2-USB / MK3-USB to your computer for the first time.
On computers with internet, Windows will automatically download the correct driver itself.
The inverter needs to be on for it to connect, the other thing is sometimes when its plugged in its not always home properly. Just check contact in the inverter and the Mk3.
What firmware version is your Phoenix?
If it is 18xxyyy then it is VE.9bit (not VE.Bus) and will not work with MK3 dongles. You'd need to get hold of a MK2 dongle to connect these older devices.
VE.Bus devices have 19xxyyy / 20xxyyy or 26xxyyy / 27xxyyy and should work with MK3 dongle.
