Repurpose Color Control GX from Multi to Quattro - How to reset?

I upgraded from Multi to Quattro for more capacity on my boat installation. The CCGX retains it's identity/association with the Multi and does not learn it's now connected to Quattro even tho I've performed all resets available in the user menu.

How can i restore CCGX to the factory out of box state?

Hi, there is a “Redetect system” option on the Multi menu.


and make sure to update the firmware of the ccgx to the latest available version (v2.33)

I was successful. FYI, the 'Redetect system' menu did not redetect. When I updated firmware of both CCGX and Quattro and restarted system the CCGX did correctly recognize the Quattro. THanks. S
