What effect does the “Show” Yes/No of the PV inverter position setting on the GX device?
When No is selected I notice Loads wattage drops on Gx display.

What effect does the “Show” Yes/No of the PV inverter position setting on the GX device
It excludes the AC PV solar from the display and the calculations.
Your loads appear to drop because the solar component cancels them out (without being visible).
Assuming everything is correctly connected you want to leave that enabled.
