Touch 50 Readings

Attached are 2 pictures, both are with no shore power. One is with the solar power turned off and the fridge turned on being powered by the house bank (via the Multiplus inverter). The second is with the solar on powering the fridge and the excess going to the house bank. My question is why does the house bank show a positive watt number when its powering the fridge and a negitive number when its getting the excess charge from the solar?no-solar.jpg

The Victron ecosystem has always minimized negative numbers and only used them in the battery and when feeding energy to the grid. To that end, Victron has decided that a positive number means the battery is supplying power and a negative number indicates it s consuming power. On the AC input side, a positive number indicates power is being consumed from the grid and a negative number indicates the grid is being fed power from the system. Both of these are technically backwards but that's the way things are.
