4 MPPT connected to 1 Battery bank

Hi,

I would like to connect 4 sets of solar panels to 4 distinct MPPT 250-70 To a single battery bank 24 Volt 660 Amps.

Can I just connect the wires from the MPPTs directly to the battery bank? Would it work? in an old post I read that this is not possible..... What should I install between batteries and MPPTs to make it works?

Here is a basic schema of my installation.

Thanks a lot for your advices.

Andrea

@Spinoglio

That's pretty much what I did. My 3 MPPTs connect to busbars and my 1 battery bank connects to the same busbars.

Where did you read that this is not possible?

You need isolators between the panels and MPPTs.

Size the MPPTs and panels using theonline Victron MPPT calculator.

Between MPPTs and batteries use busbars to distribute the loads equally.

There's a lot of wiring info in the downloadable Victron Wiring Unlimited. Suggest you read and wire according to the recommendations there.

Don't forget the fuses.

MPPT 250-70's are a bit overkill for only three panels, what panels are you using?

Depending on the size of the panels you could probably go with a series parallel configuration and only need one MPPT 250-70
