Multiplus input/output separation

Quick question: is it alright for a Multiplus charger/inverter to use a common (shared) neutral and earth wire on the input and the output, or must the input and output always have separate neutral and ground wires and may these not be connected?

Hi, always separate!

Would otherwise not be safe when grid fails
