Orion 24/12-70 Shut down Battery System Pylontech 24 volt Up 2500


Hello Guys, I have a problem with an Orion 24/12 70 and a battery system 2x 24v up3000... when I activate the Orion the batteries give me an error .. Without the Orion everything else work fine multiplus Mppt lights etc ... does anyone know why this could happen?

what battery error does the BMS report?

Dont know because the Cerbo is conected to the battery so when ita shut down the cerbo shut down

Besides the BMS error code, do you have any load on the 12v side when you “activate” the Orion? Have you tested for a short in the 12v wiring?

A small load shouldn’t be a problem.

I take out the fuses from the fuse box of the 12 volt so no load

Are you using the Orion to charge the Pylontechs? From a 12V supply?

If so you have the wrong one. The 24/12 means 24V in, 12V out.

nop, im using for 12volt appliance from my 24 volt battery bank

some one say to me that meaby its a pre charging problem … i was thinking on turn off the battery and starting the system with ac conected to the inverter and see what happens … worse case escenario o lose a fuse ?
