Run 1 Multiplus when 2 are in parallel

I've got 2 MP2 12/3000 units and I want to run them in parallel in a caravan, but I won't always need the full 6K of power. Is it possible to only run 1 inverter if I'm running small loads like 1 cooktop and then I can turn the slave unit on if I want to run more appliances?

Is there any settings I need to look out for in general when setting up the units for parallel operation

Thanks

No, they operate together as one unit. If either is turned off, both stop.

You have to manually reconfigure as standalone and install sufficient isolation if you want to only use one.

If you're worried about efficiency, one larger inverter is always better than 2 smaller ones.
