Can I oversize the holes in my Lynx Distributor?

I was told I needed a Bluesea 3000 HD battery switch, and I should mount it on the Lynx positive bus bar. Only problem, the studs on the switch are 12.7mm (0.5 inch) and the holes in the Lynx are only 8.8mm (M8). Can (Should) I drill the hole out to fit the studs of the battery switch? Does anyone know of a high amperage battery switch that would fit, or a link bar that would be useable on both sizes?

You'll be fine with drill. Just use some electrical grease to avoid corrosion. (should work with other stuff as well, as long as it's rated for electrical/copper wiring.
