Keep SOC witn BMV and Smartshunt

Can someone explain why some devices have the possibilities to make setting, "Keep SOC" after the unit is switch off.

Some BMV can make this setting.

Some Smartshunt I can make this setting

All devices are update and run the latest firmware as show in Victron conncect.

How do I get this setting working on all devices?

That feature is only available for the BMV-712 and SmartShunt.

Also the Bluetooth FW needs to be updated.

What Bluetooth FW are you running? What VictronConnect version do you have?

Hi Matthias,

Victron connect are up to date. Same results, with Victron connect on laptop and from android phone.(version 5.97) I remotely check in this systems through, VRM tab in Victron connect.


firmware and bluetooth version all up to date. Although bluetooth is not used at all.


Do you know, If ""Keep SOC"" is selected, the device will keep his latest SOC also, if the power is completely switch off, and on again?

Or is this only ""keep SOC''" IF a normal reset is triggered, by Voltage setting, tail current?
