i didnt realise but my multiplus is still on version 413 whilst everything is up to date , i have a cerbo and various other bits of kit, am i right in thinking i have to flash the multiplus as it will not update like everything else.

Yes, the Multiplus firmware is not like the cerbo or the peripheral devices. Its not really intended for end user updates and it needs the mk3 usb cable (though it can be done remotely) I think its better to have access locally with a mk3 cable. The general advice I have seen on here is if it aint broke dont fix it. Please also note section 3.2 in the guide below for firmware prior to 415. Unless there is a specific feature you are missing its often better to leave it as is. Hopefully someone with more experience can chip in, but it might be worth contacting a Victron dealer given the version you have. I have done a couple of updates on newer versions and it can be a bit nerve wracking.
