MultiPlus not charging.

I have been chasing this issue for several weeks and can't seem to figure out why my MultiPlus 24/3000/70 isn't charging.

System:

2x 300Ah Lithium batteries in series. (24V system).
1300W solar
SmartSolar Charger MPPT 150/35
BMV-702
Venus running on a Raspberry Pi 3B.

MultiPlus 24/3000/70-50 120V connected with USB VE.Bus

The MultiPlus provides pass through power but will not charge. As you can see from the VRM widget, the AC fluctuates for demand but never charges while DC usage will drain the battery over night and only charges when the solar panels are active. Charger settings posted below.

Please tell me I'm missing something obvious.

SOC 99.2% and voltage 26.64V when MP has Float set to 27.6V.

Any reason you are using an adaptive curve instead of fixed which would usually be used for lithium batteries?

Are you able to connect to the battery internal BMS and see if anything is going on?

How is the shunt set?

Have you disabled virtual switch?

Yes the SOC is weird and the adaptive curve, agreeing with @MarekP and @nickdb.

Have you tried setting the charger to fixed and disable the temp disconnect?

I found my problem. I had a short in my battery positive cable to the inverter hiding under the shrink-wrap.
