Powering CERBO-S GX from storage battery

Hello,

I am about to setup my backup solution which consists of MultiPlus 12/1600/70-16, LiFePo4 battery and CERBO-S GX and have doubts on how to properly power up CERBO unit.

Initially I was plannig to use LiFePo4 battery for this, however there would be a moment when MultiPlus will charge it with 30-40 A current and I feel this might end bad for the unit.

Please help me to understand, will powering CERBO unit from main storage battey with potentially tens of A of charge\discharge current will work or I need to find separate solution to power the unit.

Don't worry, connecting it in parallel won't let the current flow through it. I have connected my cerbo-s directly to the clamps at my multiplus ii 48/5k and it perfectly survived the 100 amps so far.
