Inverter low battery threshold reasonable limit

capture.pngHello,

Looking at my Easysolar 48/5000 configuration I am wondering what could be a reasonable (and safe) DC input security setting in the Inverter tab.

Assuming the inverting draw too much for any reason there is a limit. Put very simply 48 volts would mean 12,0 per battery module ... wich is low...too much low.

Considering 12,6 the bank should measure at least 50 volts.

I know my take is not very realistic but I am curious how guys do you handle this ?

Regards

Philippe

You use the battery specification to guide you.

This is a backstop, it should never be needed and your goal is to protect the battery and allow the system to self-recover.

Supported lithium batteries define all these parameters.

So it is a question best posed to the battery manufacturer.
