Was torquing my AC-1 output to 22.8Nm. It broke. Appears the stud had an imperfection in it. It appears my options are send the whole thing back (I no longer have the box), or use AC-2. I understand from other reading that I can program AC-2 to be always on, even when inverting, but will this pose a problem with no AC-1 input. What a crappy way to get started. :-(

No it will not pose a problem using the ac2 IN at all as the grid oinput instead of ac1 in
however if you mean ac2 out then this can be done but you have to use assitants . to set it up to work as normally ac2 out is not powered when the main grid is off
another solution is to solder the wire directly to whats left of the post.
or dissemble the inverter section and replace the stud.
only do this if you have the capability to do it, ie the tools and the nohow.
its quite easy to do, if you are keen.

Check your torque specs. Quattro manual gives 7Nm.
