Reinstall System on Cerbo GX

Hello, is there any way to install a new operating system on a Cerbo GX? Background is that since this morning the web interface no longer worked. SSH was running. Also in the VRM portal no updates arrived. I then reset the device to factory settings via the SD card (venus-data.tgz on SD card and reboot). Now the device seems to be reset, but I can't connect it via Bluethooth, WLAN or LAN. It shows up in the Victron Connect app, but there is no connection. Also SSH does not work now of course. Is there any way to reinstall the operating system completely? Many greetings, Thomas

The restore to factory defaults erases all system customizations but does nothing to the operating system. Unfortunately, this includes the Access level and root password. Both will need to be reset manually to regain access via SSH.

You need to enable Remote Console on LAN.

Ethernet should work without any changes.

Wi-Fi should be configurable in the Settings / Wi-Fi menu.

If you can use the Online update, the trick to reinstalling the same firmware version is to first boot to a previous version then use the Online update to the latest version.

For USB/SD updates, you can download the firmware version of your choice from here:

Copy the file .swu file corresponding to the version of your choice on a USB flash drive or SD card, insert the memory device into Cerbo and navigate to the Firmware update menu, then Install firmware from SD/IUSB.
