It appears the touch surface is not working.
The link you provided says product no longer available so not exactly sure what display you have or what it's specs are.
I did connect an HDMI touch screen to my Cerbo and it did work even without calibration. The only limitation was it would not dim (common to all HDMI displays) and did not activate screen saver (aka screen blanking).
Cerbo has 3 USB ports but the one closest to the HDMI connector only provide power. Only the other two handle data.
