Generator start/stop wiring

Hey,

I'm trying to configure the auto-start/stop for my generator using a Cerbo GX.

The Generator starts with a (very common) 3-wire ATS plug. I've run a 12V +ve and -ve from a battery and spliced to my communication cable as directed here.

1628085605000.pngThe start/stop relay on the Cerbo is 3-wire (NC, NO, COM). Does anyone know how the ATS wiring and the Victron relay wiring marry up? I can't find any documentation online.

Cheers

I've managed to answer this myself purely by chance, so will update here in case it helps anyone else:

on the ATS end:

1 -> live wire

2 -> neutral wire

3 -> earth wire

on the Victron end:

live -> NC

earth -> COM

neutral -> NO

Note - on my Hyundai, you must NOT run 12V through the neutral and live wires (despite what the ATS diagram says) or the gen won't start.

You must also make sure the ignition is set to OFF, or the gen won't start.

Hope this helps someone else.

Hi, would this work with my Genny

It's a DHY18KSEm controlled by a MRS10.

Thank you, Dave.
