LiFePo4 Smart 25.6V/200ah batteries and the 2.8VPC LV alarm

I have 2 x LiFePO4 Smart 25.6V/200AH batteries in series in a 48V propulsion system.

The low Voltage alarm to trigger the V.E Bus BMS to open the Battery Protect is 2.8VPC. Is there any pack reserve at this point (2.8V x16 =44.8V) or is the pack considered 100% DOD?

Hello, there is some reserve then BUT as the voltage will drop quite steeply from this point its not advised to used the battery in that range. Specially at propuslion applications the BMS can switch the system off at any given moment then. Advise from my side would be to give an alarm/activa limp mode as soon as the voltage starts dropping of (so with a cell voltage even above 3Vdc) so that the 3.x-2.8Vdc the absolute reserve is.
