Hi, I have created a raspberry pi 3b for my RV, I have connected the mppt , multiplus and the smart shunt and all is working fine. Can I now add the touch 50 via hdmi and usb? Will this work please? TIA

The display will work but it's unlikely you'll get the touch part working. Touch flows over the I2C within the HDMI cable, not via USB like most other touchscreens.
There are lots of HDMI touchscreens that do work with the PI. You an also use the "Official 7" Raspberry PI Touchscreen" and mount the PI on the back of the display. This is what I did before I got a Cerbo/Touch 70.
