BMV-700 Fuse Size

What is the correct size for the inline fuse. Some discussions indicate a 100mA slow blow fuse. But my unit originally came with a T1AL250 fuse which I believe is a 1A fuse. Checked other posts. No one seems to have resolved this. BTW Victron, my unit came with the indicated fuse blown. I checked it for continuity before installing. Not even a visible wire.

Hi.

It's a T1AL250V.

So it is a 1A fuse.

There is less voltage drop on a 1A fuse than on a 100mA fuse.

So the measurement is more accurate and 1A is pretty enough to protect the wire.
