75/15 mppt load output explanation?

Just installed 75/15 mppt smart controller yesterday.

1 100 watt panel 2 100ah agm paralleled.

load connected to house lights and small T/V (less than 3 amps) voltage between low of 12.9 overnight and 13

last night load output was set to defaults, at 7:30 as sun went down it clicked off. reconnected fuse block direct to battery in morning load was back on, reconnected load to controller at 4:00 worked ok, turned TV on about 5:30 at 7:30 guess what!?

set to user defined after removing jumper off low switch battery level @12.5 volt not sure what high voltage level does so left it at 14volt.

Questions, Is load output dependent on panel or battery voltage? i would hope its a low battery disconnect and not dependent on panel output!

Temps today were in mid 90s F. could it be overheating?

Hi @keyspc

It's battery voltage, and you have to allow for V sag with a load on them. Like anything over 12.0V might be too high, and not relevant to batt condition. The high setting is just to protect any loads from a V they mightn't like. 14V is low.

As an aside, that's not much panel for 200 Ah of batts. Are you actually getting them up to Absorb V for a decent charge?
