About Buck-Boost DC-DC Converter

Hi, everyone,

I have some questions in your Buck-Boost DC-DC Converter.

1) This is actually designed for alternators in engines as an input power source but I'm going to replace it with fuel cells. (The output power is flowing to a service battery, as well.) The problem is the fuel cells' voltage range differs from alternators', which is 44-24V. Your manual said the maximum input voltage of your Buck-Boost DC-DC Converter is 60V.

So, will it be OK to connect my fuel cell to it for charging the service battery?

2) Again, regarding the maximum input voltage, your manual said it could bear up to 60V; however, your datasheet said 30V. Which one is right?

3) According to your manual, the output voltage range is 10-30V. Does it mean that can any value of voltage between 10V and 30V be produced, for example, 24.15V?

4) In the same context with 3) but with the maximum charging current in this time, can any value of current ranging from 0A to 50A be set, for example, 15.38A?

1. It will probably be OK, but you don't mention the voltage of your power cells.

2. Indeed, there is a discrepancy regarding the input voltage.

3, 4. Yes, but you will have to connect the converter to a computer by USB AND use a specific application.
