Victron Multiplus 3000 12v victronconnect with Chins 300ah battery settings and 30 amp shore settings my goal is to set it up to charge with shore power.

Hello, looking for ideas on optimal settings for Victron Multiplus 3000 12v using victronconnect (or is using vedirect better?) with the Chins 300ah lifepo4 battery and charging/using 30 amp shore.

To start this is all the battery specs I could find on it specifically:

Chins 300ah LiFePO4:

Rated Capacity (0.2C): 300Ah / 3840Wh

Cycle life: 2000+ cycles at 80% discharge depth

Rated voltage: 12.8V

Charge voltage: 14.2 - 14.6V

Depth of Discharge (DoD): 100%

Standard charge current: 60A

Charging time: Approximately 6 hours

Max continuous charge current: 100A

Max continuous discharge current: 200A

Peak discharge current: 600A (Duration: less than 3 seconds)

Operating temperatures: Charge 0°C~50°C(32°F~122°F),

Discharge -20°C~60°C(-4°F~140°F), Storage -20°C~50°C(-4°F~122°F)

Starting from the top here is all the options I can find in Vconnect using mk3 (is there more?)

Hello.
This is a bit of an awkward situation. Basically, it seems that you don't understand very much about the system at all and you would like someone to fill in all the boxes on each of the tabs in VE.Configure?
This community is definately here to offer help and advice, but your question falls more into the realm of system design. The trouble with this is that nobody here has physical access to your system and so cannot make any informed decisions about how to configure your system appropriately, correctly or safely.
All of those settings are there so that a perticular system can be tailored according to specific design parameters for that system. These really isn't a template answer as to how any system should be configured, there are a great many factors over and above just the specification sheets.
Something seemingly unimportant could be overlooked or miscommunicated and ends up being a catastrophie.

If you don't understand what the various settings mean then you should really consult an expert in your local area to come and help you set your system up correctly and safely. It's really important.
I think you'll have a hard time finding someone online who'd be willing to feel responsible for the safe operation of your system.

wkirby, I think you are correct but I wanted to start a dialogue and start playing around with ideas.

Also I would like to take to an expert inspection but I can't find anyone that's not booked out months in advance in the Las Vegas area (RV craze is upon us) and I am leaving on a trip in 2 weeks roughly. Does anyone know an expert within the next few weeks with time (with some way of proving they are not some random crazy person from the internet)?

My plan was to get a bunch of input then rigorously triple check everything.

Also I know there are so many variables with these complex systems but given the basic scenario and literal products I listed I feel like we can nail it pretty dam close am I wrong and could you provide an example. Seems pretty straight forward as I listed exactly the items involved and my shore power is good and consistent so not sure what major dangerous variable could exist in this scenario short of some whacked out wiring but other than that please do tell.

I have read and researched for months but I listed specifics here because ultimately you have to practice and I am always careful when I practice and I know I am a novice.
