BMV 712 Display flickering and incorrect voltage

The display is reporting 6.6 volts and turns on and off every couple of seconds. The screen backlight flickers when it is on and I cannot factory reset as it is unresponsive. It worked enough for me to initially connect via BT and update the firmware (also incorrectly displayed 7.6V then, and at one stage displayed 10V). I have tested all wiring and changed out the UTP cable. I have even confirmed 12V on the pins of the RJ12 connecting into the display. Looks to me like a defective PMIC or something in the display and under-voltage to the circuitry is causing it to flicker and turn on and off? Any suggestions?

Hi, I’ve just upgraded from lead acid to lithium, reinstalled the old shunt and bmv and now having this exact issue. Did the fuse fix this?

Try changing the FUSE to a 1amp fuse.

if that does not fix it then take the unit to your dealer for testing
