DVCC not matching battery charge current

Hello All

Does anyone know why my MPPT SmartSolar (External Control) is only charging at 0.5A when the pylontech batteries are requesting 20A? this happens when the batteries get close to full, it seems to take quite a while to get from 96% to 100%

setup is MultiPlus 48/3000/35, SmartSolar MPPT 150/100, VenusGX, and 2x Pylontech us2000 plus, DVCC enabled and MPPT show as externally controlled.

@lief ryan

How do you see that the batteries are requesting 20A?

This is quite normal behaviour for Pylontec. Dvcc allows the battery to tell the system what it wants and unless you have insufficient pv then it will charge at the current asked for.

i can see in the pylontech parameters menu on the venus gx, it has dynamic current limit.

but to be honest it seems spent most of the time at 20A and occasionally it goes up to 50A, i'm not exactly sure what prompts it to go up the 50A?
