When AC coupling with a 10KVA Quattro and a 8.2kw Fronius with BYD Batteries we are getting systems that are Overloading and shutting down frequently especially on hot days. Is there anyway that the Quattro could back of the Fronius inverters with the frequency shift when it senses it is going into overload or high temperature
The answer to this is Yes
you would install Assistants into the Quattro usually the ESS assistant, this then sends freq signals to the PV if you are off grid at the time. that would shut the PV down if required
If you have not done this before. then you m,ay find it easyer to get a Victron agent to help you set this up in you local area
That's not what he asks for.
He's requesting the Victron to regulate the PV inverter when temperature derating is active.
Sounds like a difficult task, it might be easier to somehow reduce PV power, of turn on a load shedding system. Maybe @mvader (Victron Energy Staff) has some tricks in his sleeve?

There have also been firmware updates for the inverter and updates to the PV assistant (and ESS assistant) in the current version of VEConfigure to address this issue.
Please confirm the current version numbers of all of these in your system. That should correct it.
