Multiplus and Quattro courent charging

Hello everyone,

does the input current of a Multiplus or a Quattro have an influence on the charging current of the batteries?If my input current is limited to 16A, but the battery charging current is limited to 60A, won't that cause a problem with the input breaker?Thank you

The charging current will be reduced to not exceed the AC input current.

Hi @Deutch

It will honour the 16A input current limit and reduce the charge to keep under that.

Bear in mind too that the battery 60A is at battery V, not input V, so even that 60A might be achievable on a nominal 48V system, if only a small load happening.
