victron recommend we install a bypass switch for the quattro in case of failure .Has anyone a suggestion on a switch or circuit that can perform this task for a 100 amp service and 23kw generator?All I can come up with is a 6 pole rotary three position switch.[very expensive] any help or options appreciated.
If it's a three phase system you'd need a 4 pole double throw switch (just one pole for neutral). A two position switch is all that's needed unless you need an off position. Switches for 100 amps will be expensive.
Generator transfer switches come to mind but these won't switch the neutral which is something you must do.
