4/0 Battery Cable on 3kVA Inverter

From what I can see, 2x 1/0 and 1x 4/0 have very similar cross section. I already have 4/0 run to the current inverter/charger - is there any reason I would replace this with 2x 1/0 when I install the Multiplus 12/3000/120? Perhaps there is a physical limitation on the inverter connection side?

Yes, you can use 1x 4/0 cable.
The cable will need to be terminated into a lug with an M8 (8mm) hole.
The aperture for the cable entry is 22mm wide.
