Smart Solar 75/15 24V panels charging 12V Battery

Hi guys

If I connect a 72cell panel (24V) to the 75/15 to charge a 12V battery will the MPPT automatically reduce the voltage to 12V for the battery?

Can I use 2x 200W 72cell panels in parallel with the MPPT?

Thanks

Yes you can connect that panel to the 75/15.
Yes, provided the 75/15 is configured to charge 12V batteries then it will convert the Voltage down.
Yes, you can use two 200W 72 cell panels in parallel, but NOT in series. Those 72 cell panels in series will likely go above 75V and fry the 75/15.
Bear in mind though that those two panels together will be capable of 400W whereas the 75/15 can charge at ~180W - 200W maximum. The MPPT will be fine becuase it will limit the battery charge current to 15A. You system will have"too much" PV when it's really nice and sunny, but when it's cloudy you'll be harvesting more energy than if you stuck with just 1 panel.

Thank you

If I connect 2x 100W 72cell panels in parallel or 2x 100W 32cell panels on series, which will be the more efficient option?

To my understanding they will be the same only difference the 2x 72cell panels in parallel will switch the mppt on earlier and off later?
