Trick to reset automatic battery voltage detection on Bluesolar (no bt, no VE.direct device) ?

Hi everyone,

I remember I've seen a message from Matthijs or Reinout to reset the automatic battery voltage detection on Bluesolar. (Those with firmware > 1.26 Automatic battery voltage detection is only done once at the very first power-up of the charger)

That was something like :

- disconnect everything

- short-circuit the battery output

- powered by solar input

- wait few seconds

- disconnect everything and reconnect correctly (battery first then solar panels)


Does anobody remember such a thing or can confirm the trick ?

Hi,

thanks for your question, really helpful.

I had to reset my charger (from 24 to 12V) and i don't have the ve.direct usb connector and don't have the time to get it.

I find this manual on my computer :

It also explain this method, page 5 , strangely in my manual (paper) coming with the charger this paragraph wasn't there.

So i try it and it work fine. There is a blinking of the leds : once all the led and once the bulk one.
