SmartSolar MPPT 100|30 doesn't show in VictronConnect app

I have a SmartSolar MPPT 100|30 and after connecting it to my solar panels and batteries, it started to charge the batteries straight away, so that's good. But I downloaded the VictronConnect app and after turning on my phone's (android) Bluetooth and opening the app, it didn't show any devices. Any idea why? Thanks!

Hi,

Do you have location services enabled? Unfortunately they need to be enabled for VictronConnect to be able to scan for Bluetooth Low Energy products.

I am also having this issue. My location services are enabled. The Victron Connect app doesn't show up in the list of apps that has requested location services
