[Answer] charging details for a Hankook XV110 110AH leisure battery

Hi All,

I googled this extensively and found no answer, so I contacted the manufacturer and spoke to some suppliers.

Fortunately, all the answers came back the same, so my confidence in their accuracy is
high:

So, when setting up your B2B for the Hankook XV110 Battery:

Bulk charge = 14.6-14.8v

Absorption = bulk charge

Float charge would be 13.4v - 13.8v

Hope this helps someone else out there.

Regards

BB

Hello.

I've got some of these, but the capacity of which seems to have bombed after just weeks of use. Was charging using the lower end voltage values you stated at 10Ah and changed to the higher end voltage when I noticed an issue a week ago in an attempt to resolve this.

How are your XV110 batteries doing capacity-wise over time?

Was there any Ah charge rate indicated by them, and/or a C rating?

I've got very different values taken from their website, 16V for constant current mode at 5.5Ah?!

From my understanding (which may be wrong), 16V does seem excessively high for a maintenance free battery (MF is stated on their website), and 5.5Ah seems excessively low.

Any info would be helpful, thanks.
