It would be great to be able to control the relay outputs based on time.
Ie:
Switch output 1 on at 6pm (configurable) and turn off at 9pm (configurable)
Also to apply a custom name to the output relay.
Are you guys able to update the cerbo software to allow for this additional functionality? The Cerbo already has a real time clock

As already mentioned, relays triggered based on time (plus much more complex control) is quite easy to achieve with NodeRED that is integrated into Venus large image FW (you can install this FW into any CerboGX, just note that large image FW is still beta at the moment).
However, you can actually just use the Periodic run feature in the regular generator start stop functionality - see screen image attached; configured to activate relay 1 daily from 6pm to 9pm.
A capability is coming, which will allow you to do this. If you search these forums or the internet for "Node Red", you ill see what is comming, If you are technical, then you could try using the Venus OS Large image and install it and test. Not it is not yet supported and being provided for beta testing.
I have a heap of Cerbos already though, I’ll have a look at red node. It would be just great to have the ability to program the outputs based on time already built into the firmware. It has it all there already.

Hi Wes, the same: use the Venus OS large image; we don't have the requested feature at the moment. Perhaps indeed someday, and for sure its possible; but I can't put a timeline on it.
